Suber Consulting Ltd. was involved in the development of ISO 20121 and has audited the first organisations against this standard, in the world, with SGS United Kingdom Ltd. The flagship certification, and main promotor of this standard, was the London Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games, in 2012.
The certification cycle was spread across 3 audits and multiple audits, covering the planning, delivery and legacy of the London Olympics, different venues and several teams. The challenge of auditing such a complex organisation is to sample all the relevant activities within a limited timeframe. It’s important that the auditor understands the impact of the different activities and teams, to ensure all the key ones were included in the audit.
After this, our auditor has audited organisations like the Annual Davos Meeting, the Formula E races, the Danish European Council Presidency, several caterers, the Paris 2024 Bid Committee, among others.
